Leadership Team

C. Troy Ross is the president of vegetation management at ACRT. Since joining ACRT in 1999 as a contract utility forester, Ross has advanced through increasingly senior leadership roles, supporting vegetation management programs for a wide range of utility types and organizational structures. He is the current Utility Arborist Association (UAA) vice president, a former UAA board director, and was recognized with the UAA Utility Arborist Award in 2023 for his contributions to advancing utility vegetation management. Ross holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Union University and an MBA from Ashland University.

David Burke is the director of operations at ACRT. He began his ACRT career in 2004 and brings three decades of industry experience to the role. Burke holds a bachelor’s degree in natural resources with a specialization in forestry from The Ohio State University and is an International Society of Arborists (ISA) Certified Arborist.

Brian Joiner is the director of operations for ACRT in California. He brings more than 25 years of experience as a certified arborist, working with some of California’s largest utilities and supporting service territories that encompass more than 30 million customers across 130,000 square miles. His extensive industry expertise makes him well-suited to lead ACRT operations in California. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Parks and Natural Resource Management from California State University, Chico.

Brad Dawson is the head of sales at ACRT Services and has been with the organization since 2025. In his role, Dawson leads the national sales strategy and business development for ACRT Services and its family of companies. With more than two decades of experience, Dawson brings a strong record of building high-performing teams, optimizing operations, and driving strategic growth across complex sales organizations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northern Kentucky University.

Brad Schroeder is the chief executive officer of ACRT Services and, most recently, served as its chief financial officer. Before joining the organization in 2012, Schroeder served in financial leadership positions for Fortune 500 companies. He serves on several boards for local for-profit and non-profit organizations. Schroeder holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Bowling Green State University and an MBA in Finance from The University of Akron.

Tim Stiller is the controller at ACRT Services. He brings nearly two decades of experience in finance, operations, and tax to the organization. Stiller, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Miami University (Ohio) and a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Akron.
